Valentine Heart Rosette Cookie Mold. Rosettes are a dessert that originated in Europe and Latin America and have found popularity worldwide. They go by many names; Scandinavian Rosettes, Chinese Pretzels (Tong Wan), Bunuelos, Ahappams, Sopapillas, and Fried Dough. They are cookie-like pastries that are deep-fried and commonly have the edges dipped in frosting or sugar. To make a batch of your own, attach this rosette iron to a handle (sold separately here) and heat in hot oil. The mold must be seasoned before use to ensure the easiest release.  Dip the hot rosette iron into the batter and put it back in the hot oil until a crisp shell is created.

Valentine's Day Surprise

My boyfriend's grandma used to make him rosettes when he was little, so I'm surprising him with some for Valentine's Day! I'm really excited to surprise him. The irons seem very sturdy and good quality and shipping was super fast. Wish me luck!

Great rosette mold. It came very fast and worked perfect with the handle I purchased previously from here. Very happy and will be buying some different styles to use throughout the year.
